EVIDENCE TO ACTION
EVIDENCE TO ACTION
Evidence-based, community-centered health and wellness programs that translate research into measurable improvements in quality of life.
The Health Programs Department is the implementation arm of UWRA — where research meets reality. We design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-informed health and wellness interventions that address the most pressing health challenges facing communities in Kenya and across Africa.
Our programs span the full spectrum of health — from disease prevention and health promotion to chronic disease management and wellness support. Each initiative is grounded in rigorous research, co-designed with community stakeholders, and continuously monitored for impact.
We prioritize interventions that are scalable, sustainable, and responsive to local contexts, ensuring that every program contributes to measurable improvements in health outcomes and wellbeing.
