About this masterclass

Curriculum overview

Week 1

Foundations of Scientific Writing

Principles of clear writing, understanding your audience, ethical considerations, and authorship criteria (ICMJE guidelines).

Week 2

Structuring the Manuscript

IMRAD framework, writing the introduction (the funnel), methods (reproducibility), and results (telling the data story).

Week 3

The Discussion & Abstract

Interpreting findings, limitations, implications, and crafting abstracts that get cited.

Week 4

Journal Selection & Submission

Identifying target journals, understanding impact metrics, writing cover letters, and navigating submission systems.

Week 5

Peer Review & Revision

Responding to reviewers, revising manuscripts, handling rejections, and ethical resubmission strategies.
